Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

My husband let his temporary green card expire so when he returned to the states he voluntarily abandoned his green card. He had to return to France to work last week. What do we have to do to get him a permanent green card & get him back to the states? He is a French citizen

The timing here will be important, so I suggest speaking to an attorney in more detail. However, if a substantial amount of time has passed, he will most likely have to re-apply from scratch.

He will need to re-apply for U.S. Permanent residency all over again, assuming he is eligible.
