Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

I140 denied

My I 140 was denied through L1. I had also appealed through a lawyer

Mostly the lawyers here give false promise and try to get the money from their customers. I had hired 3 lawyers and all of them screwed me . I am having a restaurant here and have 8 full time workers with me and I also plan to open another but without this immi policy its is hard for business people to do business here.

Re: I140 denied

I assume your I-140 was based on multinational manager/executive and that you held such status under your L-1A visa. In terms of I-140 strategy, can't give an opinion without knowing all the facts. In terms of alternate options, however, depending upon your country of nationality, you may be eligible to apply for an E visa as a treaty investor. Also, depending upon how much money has been invested and how many US workers you're employing, you may even be eligible for permanent residency in the EB-5 classification (as an immigrant investor). Good luck with your case and be careful to not accrue unlawful presence in the USA-if you have overstayed the date on your I=94 then the clock has likely started for unlawful presence and you could be potentially barred from re-entering the USA for 3 or 10 years- depending on how much unlawful presence you have.
