my boyfriend is an illegal immigrant he was brought here when he was 7. My question is that i want to help him get his papers through the Fiancee visa but does that mean he has to go to Mexico or can he stay here still

If he entered "illegally" (i.e. without a valid visa and inspection at the border), then he may need to return to Mexico to interview for his green card in conjunction with a waiver.
