immigration divorce and remarriage
An immigrant has been married for 10 months unhappily. He has met someone and wants to divorce and remarry. He has applied for his 1st green card. Can he divorce the first wife and remarry, apply again for green card with 2nd wife?

Yes but this could jeopardize the green card. It depends on whether the first marriage was legitimate, and not just to get the green card. Many factors go into this and will be looked at.
