I got my green card now . My question is can I sponsor my son who came as a student here in 1999 and is out of status?

Sponsorship may be possible. For example, the unmarried son of a permanent resident can be petitioned for under the 2nd Preference category. It may be important to start a petition in order to put your son "in line."
