Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
Hi I'm Marjorie, 21 yrs old. Came two weeks ago to the US and have six months to stay here on my B1/B2 visa. I want to get married to my american fiance in January and want to know if I can submit the paperwork to become a US resident before I have to leave the country. Thank you

Your intention at time of entry to the U.S. with respect to marriage to a U.S. citizen can be important in determining whether the sponsorship paperwork can be filed, although the general rule is that sponsorship within the U.S. is OK.
