Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

I have been married for 2 yrs and been a resident for 2 yrs. I recently applied for the removal of the conditions on my residency. It got approved. My new card will be mailed to me in 4 months. I am now getting divorced. I know that I need to be married for 3 yrs and be a resident for 3 yrs to apply for citizenship but under my circumstances. What are my options and will my residency be revoked?

If your permanent resident card was approved before the divorce is final, then you are fine - as you jointly filed the I-751 removal of conditions. Your cards will not be revoked providing the marriage was bona fide.

You can apply for Naturalization (without your spouse) - 4years and 9 months after the approval of the conditional residency.

Hope that helps
