Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida

regarding N 400 application

Hi everyone,

Please include me in June fliers list

I am applying for Citizenship and sending my application tomorrow 5 years after getting card from Miami . I am in the process of divorce and paying APL/Spousal support to my wife. I donot claim my wife or child as my dependants while filing taxes. My child lives with my ex inlaws. The court did not ordered any child support and my exinlaws did not ask for anychild support because of huge disparities their income and mine.I am planning to send the proof of paying spousal support along with my N400 application, copy of GC, 2 passport photos, Check signed for 675 USD? Do I need send anything else like Custody order. I am planning to send some checks on my Kid's name to my inlaws address and planning to show them at interview if asked.

I am asking this in response to this statement in the application n the UScis website

If you have a dependent spouse or children who do not live with you, send:

Any court or government order to provide financial support; and

Evidence of your financial support (including evidence that you have complied with any court or government order), such as:

Thanks

Re: regarding N 400 application

Dear Inquirer:

You will be required to disclose any children you have on your application and your obligation to support your children will reflect on your moral character. You will not be approved for naturalization if you cannot demonstrate 5 years of good moral character.

I recommend that you email [email protected] or visit www.hanlonlawgroup.com if you would like further information.
