Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
My partner is American and I am from the UK. We met almost 31 years ago and lost contact. We met up again nearly 3 years ago in Antigua. He has now come back to the states and I have been here to visit him twice in the last 7 months for a period of 2 - 3 months at a time (not exceeding the 90 day period at any time). On my last entry into the USA the officer said 'I know what your trying to do?'. I would like to continue to visit and stay over but I am concerned that this may not be allowed. I do have a Degree qualification. What can I do to continue seeing him.

If you can prove that you have no intention of abandoning your home in the UK, and you have means of support there, you should be able to continue to enter and exit on the visa waiver program. You should, however, expect to be questioned about these things the more back and forth you do, especially if you aren't staying outside of the U.S. for very long periods. As the attorney stated above, there may be other options if you would like to relocate to the U.S. permanently.
