Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
Petitioning for siblings
My brother is a USA citizan. I know my brother can petition for me while I am in the United States. I know this may take up to 10 years, or over. Can I stay here, or do I have to leave and wait for that period of time?

Under the present state of the law . . . if you are able to maintain valid status in the U.S. without accruing 180 days (or more) of unlawful presence through the time that the visa in the FB-4 classification becomes available to you then then you would be able to stay in the U.S. If this is not the case, then you may want to consider leaving.
