Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
Hi . I just recently married. And my grace period for my visa will expire on April 19. My husband is a US citizen. Am I considered illegal even if I haven't filed for a green card?

Congratulations! "Grace period?" What type visa do you have? How long have you known your husband? If your visa is no longer valid, until he files an I-130, Petition for Alien Relative and then you file an I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, technically you are illegally present which can have all kinds of negative consequences, say, if things don't work out with your new husband. Sit down with a competent local immigration lawyer, with your husband, and have a discussion about the matter.
