Legal Question in Immigration Law in Florida
If I work (as an F-1 student) on SSN that is DHS authorized only, and I work and get paid for, will that affect me getting permanent residency if I get married with a US citizen. Prior working I need to fill-out an independent contract and W-9 form.

If you are on OPT or CPT, you are only supposed to work for the designated employer. However, it will not be a bar to adjustment if you are petitioned by a U.S. citizen spouse at a later date. It can, however, be a bar to adjustment if you are petitioned by an employer.
