Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

2005 Escalade Tires and Rims

On 2/4/2007 my 26'' tires and rims was stolen off of my 2005 escalade at my gated community apartment complex where I live. I have proven to the Ins company what was on the vehichle when I purchase it. They do not want to pay for the rims and tires. They just want to pay for stock tires and rims that would have originally came on the vehicle. It is now 3/17/2007 and I am still unable to drive my vehicle. Would I have a case to hire a lawyer?

You have to be able to show that you had those rims on your vehicle. The insurance company is liable to pay for your rims and tires up to the market value.

Do you have any proof of purchase like receipts? Credit card statement? Can you get a copy of the receipt? Photos that the rims and wheels were on the vehicle?

Please feel free to email me if you have any further questions. Where in Florida do you live?

Nicolas.
