Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
auto accident denial
We were rear-ended by a young girl over a month ago. She gave us a copy of her insurance information and we called to verify the policy. It was and is valid. Her father has the policy and she is a driver on the car. However, since the cars were drivable and no injuries, the police woulnd't come out. Now, we heard from her insurance company that she has denied hitting us and the claim has been denied. This is so even though her ins. company sent their adjustor out to look at the damage on our car. What is our next step?
We don't know where to go from this point.

Re: auto accident denial
You can always sue in small claims court. Unless you have witnesses, it will be your word against hers. Good luck. Perhaps the police have a record of your call.
