Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Auto Accident
I was involved in an auto accident with one other car recently. I rear ended the car in front of me, denting my hood and scratching hos bumper. He was kind enough not to get police involved and agreed to keep the financial matter ''confidential''. He never called me back, and just a few days ago, I received a call from my insurance company. I did not admit to the accident YET, and there was no police report written. Am I bound by law to report this incident and pay him?

Re: Auto Accident
If you want your insurance carrier to protect you from any claim you must report the accident otherwise they can disclaim any covereage protection.
