Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Auto accident
I was involved in an accident about two months ago. The police arrived at the scene and give the other driver a citation for violation of right of way. My car is now a total loss because it's going to cost more to repair the damages than what the car is worth. The other driver and I have the same insurance company and they are now stating that I am 90% liable for the accident and that the other driver is only responsible for 10%. The insurance company has a copy of the police report I sent them with the citation number of the other driver. What can I do?
