Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Auto Accident can place Lien on House
The title of the townhouse is under my name and my brother. Me, my brother & my mom are all on the same auto policy and we all live in the townhouse. For example either one of us had a car accident and it was our fault, and the other party didn't get enough from the insurance, can they sue us and place a lien on the house?

Re: Auto Accident can place Lien on House
If this house qualifies as a homestead it is exempt from a judgment against the individual who qualifies.
