Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Auto Accident with only required insurance
I was recently in a car accident. I ran a stop sign that I didnt see in a unfamiliar part of town. I hit a truck on his bumper sending him into a spin. The cops estimated damage to his truck at 2500.00 and mine was estimated at 5000.00. I only had what was required to have my vechile on the road due to being unemployed and keep finances down.
My question is, since the accident was clearly my fault, well i receive any help from my insurance company to fix my car.

Assuming you had the minimum required by law, you get no help in repairing your vehicle.

Not if you do not have collision coverage on your insurance policy.
