Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
bodily injury
I was hit head on in my car by a drunk driver in which she was cited .24 on her breath test. My car was totaled and I was injured. I had 13 sutures in my left hand, whiplash injury and bilateral knee contusions. She had full coverage. What is the average settlement for this type of liability case in dollars? If i'm MMI from the doctor. Thank you, the injured.

Re: bodily injury
In order to recover general damages for your injuries, you must exceed tort a threshold specified in Florida Statutes. If this is so, you have the right to learn the other party's liability coverage. In your case we would determine the degree of permanancy, scarring, future medicals and projected lost wages. Identical injuries on another person may have a different value than yours.
