Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Car accident
Involved in a car accident, and the other driver is at fault. I called my insurance company to report the accident and learned that they cancelled the policy prior to the day of the accident. If the other drive sues me, what are my legal ramifications and what options would I have being my inssurance was not in effect the day of the accident?

You should retain provate counsel to protect your interests. I do this all the time. Good luck.
Re: Car accident
You state that you only learned your policy was cancelled when you reported the accident. Are you neglecting to tell that you received Notice of Cancellation before the accident. The Company must give you Notice at least 10 days before cancellation to allow you time to buy other insurance. If the cancellation was valid you will need legal advice to defend the case and protect your assets( if you have any}.
