Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
My car caught fire in my driveway. My car insurance company totaled the car and is going to paying me for the car. It has been over 18 days. My question is I have damage to my driveway an tree that caught fire and one of my other cars has two burn marks on the roof from something from the fire. My car insurance company USAA is telling me I have to contact my homeowners insurance for the driveway and the tree. And I will need to do a separate claim for the damage on the other car and pay another $500.00 deductible Any help would be greatly appreciated
