Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
car repairs
If my car was hit in a private parking lot - did not get reported to the police but insurance company paid for damages, when I trade the car in will they know car has had repairs done and will it effect the value of the vehicle?

No way of telling without more information about the damage. A small dent will not affect value, a 3K pop will.
