Statute of Limitations is 4 years from date of occurrence. However, the homeowners' insurance company must be notified of the incident as soon as reasonalby possible. Call me for more information at 561 998 9401.

Re: Dog bite
The general statute of limitations in Florida is 4 years from the incident. However there are investigations that need to be done promptly. Does the homeowner have liability insurance? Is there an exclusion for dog bites? Was the property posted with a "Bad Dog" sign? Who is the owner? Was notice given to the Company? Waiting even one year or one month before consulting an attorney is foolish.
