Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

Father buys daughter truck and daughter leaves state...

In 2000, I came home from work and found a 1992 Ford ranger in my dads driveway ( thats where I was staying at the time ) , I went into the house asking who's truck is out there in the driveway, my father replied, I got it for you because you have been doing so good and you need something thats goos on gas rather then a full size van, he went on saying that there are rules to go by. he never said that I couldn't leave the state.

anyways, last year, 2003, my father and I haven't been getting along, I moved here to Ga. where I'm at now because I needed a fresh start

My daughter that still lives in Fl told me tonight that my father cancelled the auto insurance and is coming to claim the truck, now all that money that I paid on that truck and I have proof ( bank statements copies).

Can I get into trouble from the Ford Credit for leaving the sate with my truck? by the way, my father has been making the payments , it's in his name. I'm not working right now and there's only $2,600 left to pay on it.

but I do send him money too every month.

Please can you help answer my question?

With Much Thanks.......
