Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Yes I feel at a hotel in Orlando "Gaylords Hotel" back in Dec 26th of 2008 at there ice show. I have an Attorney, but have not signed anything yet.I was wondering what is the usual fee. This lawyer is asking 33 1/3% if settlement occurs prior to the time defendants file an answer or the demand for appointment of arbitrations.Or 40% of any recovery after defendant file an answer or after arbitration demand is made. I was wondering if this is a good fee?
Thank you

That is quite typical, except that if the defendant admits liability at or before filing the answer, then the fee is 33%
