Fire insurance holdback.
My house was burn down for almost a yeasr, Are insurance co. send a check for the damagesbut the problem is they put the check name under are mortgage co. We are now going through a mortification on are loan. We were behind in payments due that we had to look for a place to live. Now it's been almost a year and they still holding are check from the insurance co. We need to pay are contractors who finish repairing are home to to a fire. Plaese tell me me want can we do??? We need to pay are contractors.

You need to contact the mortgage holder to try to work out an agreement on the check. do not delay.
