Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
My house sitter, who has worked for us for about 4 years, fell while walking our dog on a leash.. the dog is 60 lbs and saw a cat and pulled suddenly causing her to fall . She has a lot of scrapes and possible cracked rib, and re-injured right knee which she already wore a brace on for support. Can she make a claim with our homeowners insurance to cover any medical expenses/loss of work time?

1. Homeowners insurance usually provide an exclusion for someone working at your house. so probably no claim because of that.
2. Unless you have medical payment coverage, she would need to establish a negligence claim against you in order to recovery on a bodily injury claim.
Not enough facts to give any more detailed response.
Without reading your policy, I would think yes. Notify your home owners Insurance carrier.
