can insurance company change in middle of contract
after my husband signed on under his companys insurance can the insurance company then say we may not use certain doctors before that year is completed for than certain contract year

I would have to read the insurance contract your husband obtained to determine whether the insurance company can compel a switch of doctors. Usually they can since doctors go in and out of plans all the time.
