Hit a large dog in roadway in Florida cause major damage to my vehicle homeowner amitted ownersship of dog and filed on homeowners insurance alot of expences have occured truck still in body shop 17 days later is her homeowners responsible or is she i live in another state and have to comute back and forth

It depends on whether she was negligent. If the dog was required in the area to be on a leash -- that is -- it was unlawful for the dog to be out, then she is responsible. You may bear some responsibility if, under the circumstances, you were speeding or otherwise should have seen and avoided the accident.
