insurance co

law suite against auto insurance company. lost so the cost and fees are owed by us. they will work with us but not sure what number to offer. the amount asking is $96K. what is a fair amount to offer for them to take the first time and not say that that its ridiculous?

Your question can only be answered by the attorney who handled your case and who knows your property ownership and income, You may want to consult with a bankruptcy lawyer who knows creditors rights i.e. are you judgment proof? Is the judgment against both you and your wife?

Any answer given to your question would be out of ignorance of the important facts.
