Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
This is Justice?
our insurance agent was collecting our money, and putting it in her pocket. we had an accident and discovered our policy was fraudulent. we reported her to the insurance commision. we got sued for damages, as well as all the other ''fun'' stuff that goes along with driving without insurance.we are paying 150.00 a month for the next seven years. the agent had to surrender her insurance licence.
we are still stuck paying for damages to the other party, vehicular, personal, rental car and medical.
our agent was a criminal.
we were victims of her crime.
she has since moved to washington state, bought two 18 wheelers (in her boyfriends name, and opened a trucking company in her sons name. the insurance commision found her guilty of defrauding 100's of people.
This is Justice?
what is our recourse?
help, please!

Re: This is Justice?
You can bring an action against the "agent" for damages you suffered. Depending on the insurance company and their relationship with the agent, you may have a claim against the insurance company. If you have not talked to an attorney in your area I would suggest you do that.
