If you have your license and are driving someone elses car, do you need insurrance or is the car covered by the owner of the vehicle?

Typically auto policies cover the insured and anyone driving with the owners permission. However if you regularly drive an auto without owning you can purchase a non-ownership liability policy quite inexpensively. That way you have broad coverage for any car you might drive.
