Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
is a life insurance company required to send a copy of a policy if you request it? we didn't know there was one and they called, but wont send a copy of the life insurance policy for the deceased

The company is not required to send a copy of the policy unless you are the owner or the beneficiary.

If you are the owner or beneficiary of the policy, they should send you a copy. If they refuse, you should consult with an attorney who can properly advise you after obtaining all the relevant information.
