Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

Lost 4/40 License

I worked for an Ins. Brokerage firm for 6 months, at the time of hire they said they would have me appointed with an insurance company. When you have a 2/20 or 4/40 license you must be appointed with a company to keep your license. They did not and I have emails saying that she did not get around to do it and now I don't have a 4/40 and will have to go through all the tests again and pay a fine. Can I get restitution or anything from them?

Re: Lost 4/40 License

If you have something in writing that they had you covered then yes, but its going to cost you more than the fees for the 4/40 license.
