Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
My nephew is 16 years old and does not live with me. I want to buy him a car in his name. The real problem is getting insurance. How can I get insurance that legally covers my nephew if I do not live with him. He is in Florida. Is there a way to be co owner of the car and buy insurance that covers both of us if I do not live with my nephew. He lives in Florida.

This is an insurance question not a legal one. I would point out that your nephew cannot legally own a car since he is not 18 years old. Check with a local insurance agent about how best to protect you and him.
