Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
I was parked in a hotel's 3rd floor parking garage and my vehicle was broken into. The front passenger window was smashed in. Can the hotel be held liable for the damage to my vehicle?

Possibly if they had notice of an intruder or if they had notice of the area being high crime or if they had notice of the event and did nothing about it. The problem is that the damages incurred will not justify the attorney's fees and costs you will incur in pursuing the reimbursements. If you have more facts, you could certainly send a demand letter to the hotel outlining what they did wrong and what you want them to cover.
