Prescription Coverage
When prescribed a medication (one shot)that is given one time, 4 times a year(each shot lasts for 3 months,is it legal to charge 3 co-pays since the shot lasts for 3 months although it is only one prescription and one actual shot?

The co pay is for each injection you get. I get allergy shots once a month and am charged each time the nurse give me the shot. I see no way around it.

Each time a service is provided the health care provider is entitled to charge and therefore entitled to a co-pay.
