Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
rental car accident insurance
We rented vehicle in Orlando. Rear ended by someone else. Damages paid by insurance company of person at fault. Rental company coming back to us (the renter) for Admin costs, appraisal fee, diminution in value, loss of use. We did not take out their insurance. Our insurance covers accidents in rentals for damages only. Loss of use and diminution of value seems to be for persons at fault in accident. What is our recourse??

Refuse to pay. This should have been covered by offending party insurance company.
