Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
rental insurance
yesterday i rented a cargo van and the agent at the rental asked me for the insurance,i showed my insurance,he asked me if i have commercial policy i showed him because i have a commercial insurance policy on my company vans and he didnt charged me for the insurance.unfortunately i involved in an accident yesterday a pickup truck broke the traffic light and smashed in to the driver side door of the van and ran away from the scene, luckily i didnt get hurt.
i called my insurance company about this and they are saying that the rental is not covered in the commercial policy,i dont know what to do now its 2008 model,please help me advice me how to pursue this case.

The terms of your coverage are governed by the contract language. Why isn't it covered? You need to see a lawyer who can read the policy and the company's explanation for why they say it is not covered. Insurance companies frequently deny coverage when they should not.
