Social Security Disability Check

I am totally and permanently disabled with after effects of Stevens Johnson Sydrome where you burn from inside out till death. I am married and my husband controls th e finances so I don't see my check.. I recently found my credit rating score dropped by 100 points. Do I have any say in how my check is spent in addition to almost all on meds and doctors?

Your check is your check, not your husband's. Sit down and try to work these things out. SJS can be tough to deal with and is a rough ride. Treat each other well and with love to work out these difficulties and resort to lawyers only as a very, very, very last resort.
