Insurance claims are tricky. In particular, there may be strict time limits in which you need to make a claim for insurance coverage. The policy may also require you to go to arbitration, rather than filing a lawsuit. You should contact a civil litigation attorney who handles claims against insurance companies. Many attorneys who handle accident cases also handle insurance claims, but not all do. Look for an attorney who specializes in handling insurance claims. If you contact our office, I would be happy to recommend some in your area.
