Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
Vehicle accident
In July of 07 my daughter was driving my vehicle that fully insured. She ran into the back of a semi that was parked on the side of the road with the back of the semi partially out in the road. There was only an estimated amount of $10.00 to the semi, however my vehicle had significant damage in which I have already finalized the claim with my insurance carrier.
She is now having back and neck problems that according to the doctor was caused from the wreck.
She is seeing an attorney about a possible suit against the trucking company that owned the semi.
Do I need to be concerned with any kind of suit against myself or my insurance carrier as a result?

Re: Vehicle accident
Support your daughter and her lawyer. Let your insurance company worry. That's the reason you bought insurance. A truck should not be parked with the back blocking the road. The law requires red reflectors if the truck is parked as a roadside hazard. I had a lady almost decapitated in that type situation and collected for her face ripped off and eye damage.

Are you worried over the ten bucks?
