Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida
waiver of liability
I own a rental property in Venice, Florida. The tenant has asked if she could take in children for day care. She is licensed. I checked with our homeowner insurance company and they said they could not provide liability coverage, since she is not the owner. My question is this: If the parent's of any such child she took in signed a waiver of liability (for us, the home owners), would that be binding and free us from any liability?

No, and I doubt you are zoned for such a practice.
