Fantasy Football Online Website

I am interested in creating a fantasy football type website, it would be based on the NFL. If I did not use the NFL or Team Logo's, but did use team names and names of players am I looking at any intellectual property infringement?

You will doubtless find that all of the NFL team names are registered as separate trademarks, so, YES, there are potential infringement issues.
