Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Florida
Is it legal for a husband hire a PI to
My husband, (going through divorce process now - still living under the same roof), has admitted to hiring a PI to ''hack'' into my laptop which I use from home to watch what I do, who I talk with, my emails, anything that I type he knows about. Is that legal? And is it legal for him to put a tracking device on my vehicle without my knowledge? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jen

Re: Is it legal for a husband hire a PI to
No, the conduct of the PI at issue would be legally deemed tortious malfeasance, and would be actionable by you in a court of law if an out of court settlement is not reached. If you would like prompt, affordable assistance in this timely manner, contact us directly for a free phone consultation.
