Re: picture ownership

In order to give you any decent choices, from a practical perspective, I need more facts.

For example, it makes a difference if your friend is a photographer, and she has entered the photo is a legitimate artistic contest. If so, any legitimate contest will have rules for entering pictures, such that the entrant will be disqualified if the photo contains images of another person without their written release. One could pursue that avenue to have the entry disqualified and removed from the contest. A fact-specific solution.

The kind of picture, the kind of contest, and how far you are willing to go to get it removed are all considerations for how to best approach the matter.

You can repost your questions with additional facts. Or, if you prefer, you can email me with additional facts.
