Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Florida
website ownership
I had a internet law question and thought you might know the answer. I registered and own a websiteI developed all the content and paid for the site to be built. July 1st, I am going to stop working with my partner due to breach of contract and change the content on the website to a new corporation. I had the site built in August of last year and have documentation to support it. we did not incorporate the business until January 1. He failed to issue shares or committ to partnership
We did sign a no compete clause in March that was attached to monthly bonuses. I have never received a bonus from them. His no compete states that I cannot represent that corporation in the United states or offer the same product.
My Legally--name removed--inc, is the registered owner of website--name removed--I the individual agreed to the no compete based on a monthly bonus that was never received. I also have documented proof of developing company into a $30,000 in revenue from a $4000 in revenue.
Any thoughts or advice. I was going to lease it to him for a monthly fee if he wanted to keep it or lease it to another corporation to clear my name. What are my legal options.

Re: website ownership
It sounds like you can challenge the validity of the non-compete because you never were paid a bonus. If we talk, there are probably some other things you can do now to protect yourself. I focus on Internet matters, especially domain names. I bill $200/hr out of court but just an hour of my time will help you with this.
