suing a non-us resident
If you get sued in the US however live outside of the US, can the lawsuit affect your entrance/exit status into the US?

Yes it can depends on what you are sued for, or if it is a criminal act

It can depending on the facts. But the main thing is that it is never smart to ignore litigation because it will usually come back to bite you while your head is still in the sand.
