Legal Question in Investment Law in Florida
Real estate deposit
We invested in a condo 11/2005. It has been two years and the unit is no where near finished. We would like out and would like our sizable deposit returned. We understand that the Federal Gov/ state gives a developer two years to complete their obligations. If they do not then they must return the deposit. Is this true? We fear the worst here. Can you advise us or refer us to a good real estate attorney in our area.
