Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Florida
16 year old girl wants to move out of a emotionally damaging home
i have a friend and her mom has put her throught alot me and my mom have supported her before and want to help her..her mom wont do anything for her wont even take her to enroll her in school..is there anything we can do to help her get out of this house that is doing no good for her?

She can legally move out, but if her mother demands that she move back, the police and DCF will honor the mother's demand. A minor has no right to leave the home without parental consent.
